Historical and recent changes to the rules of ice hockey as a proof of game development

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je shrnout vznik a počátky ledního hokeje, které sahají až do dávných dob před naším letopočtem. Dále se ve své práci zabývám moderními pravidly a jejich možnostmi, kam mohou tato pravidla směřovat v budoucnosti. Práce je rozdělena do 2 hlavních kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá hrami, které předcházely vzniku ledního hokeje, a popisuje vývoj nezbytné hokejové výstroje. Druhá kapitola je pak věnována vzniku a vývoji jednotlivých pravidel ledního hokeje v Evropě a NHL, a to od počátku 19. století až do současnosti.

Abstract:

The goal of the work is to summarize the origins and early ice hockey, which date back to ancient times BC. Further work also deals with the modern with the option of where those rules may face in the future. The work is divided into two main chapters. The first chapter deals with the games that preceded the formation of ice hockey, and describes the development of the necessary hockey equipment. The second chapter is devoted to the creation and development of individual rules of ice hockey in the NHL and Europe, from the beginning of the 19th century to the present.
