Application of Vojta Therapy in Children with Brachial Plexus Postpartum Paresis

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím Vojtovy metody u dětí s poporodní parézou brachiálního plexu. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. První část teoretické práce pojednává o prof. Václavu Vojtovi, který je autorem Vojtovy metody. Dále je práce zaměřena na samotnou metodu a její rozbor. Závěr teoretické části se věnuje anatomii brachiálního plexu, patogenezi, diagnostice, léčbě, prognóze, rizikovým faktorům a příčině poporodní paréze brachiálního plexu. Praktická část práce je vytvořena pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu. Výzkumné šetření je zpracováno formou rozhovoru. Cílem práce je prozkoumání a popis zmíněné oblasti z pohledu matek, které se svým dítětem cvičili Vojtovu metodu, a jaký je jejich život s poporodní parézou brachiálního plexu u jejich dítěte.

Abstract:

The title of the bachelor thesis is Application of Vojta Therapy in Children with Brachial Plexus Postpartum Paresis. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part of the thesis is focused on professor Vojta, who is the author of Vojta´s method. Furthermore, the work focuses on the method itself and its analysis. The conclusion of the theoretical part deals with the anatomy of the brachial plexus, pathogenesis, diagnosis, tre-atment, prognosis, risk factors and the cause of postpartum brachial plexus paresis. The practical part of the work is created using qualitative research. The research is processed in the form of an interview. The aim of the work is to examine and describe the mentioned area from the point of view of mothers who practiced Vojta's method with their child and what is their life like with postpartum brachial plexus paresis of their child.
