Ve své diplomové práci se budu věnovat méně známé, nikoliv však nevýznamné, činnosti státního zastupitelstva, kterým je jeho účast v civilním řízení. Vedle typického působení státního zastupitelstva jako žalobce v trestním řízení, vykonává státní zastupitelství také tzv. netrestní působnost a právě do ní spadá i jeho účast v civilním řízení.
