Assessment of the usability of selected woods for the production of wood-based composite

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o experimentální analýze možnosti využití jiných druhů dřev, než bývají v ČR běžně používány, pro výrobu OSB desek a jejich následné využití pro opláštění rámových konstrukcí dřevostaveb. V první části se čtenář dozví o charakteristikách OSB desek a jejich uvedení do historie a výrobního procesu. Následují informace o požadavcích na výrobu OSB desek, jejich vlastností včetně používaných lepidel. Druhá část se zaměřuje na materiál a metodiku všech provedených zkoušek a zjištěné výsledky pro jednotlivé vlastnosti. Vypracování zkoušek s připravenými vzorky bylo za účelem zjištění vlhkosti, hustoty, hustotního profilu, pevnosti v ohybu (MOR), modulu pružnosti v ohybu (MOE), bobtnání a pevnosti v tahu kolmo na rovinu desky.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis discusses the experimental analysis of the possibility of using different types of wood for the production of OSB boards than are commonly used in the Czech Republic and their subsequent use for cladding frame constructions of wooden buildings. The first part informs the reader about the characteristics of OSB boards, their history, and the production process. It is followed by information on the requirements for the production of OSB boards, their properties including the adhesives used. The second part focuses on the material and methodology of all conducted tests and the results for individual properties. The purpose of conducting tests with the prepared samples was to determine moisture, density, density profile, bending strength (MOR), modulus of elasticity in bending (MOE), swelling, and tensile strength perpendicular to the plane of the board.
