Alternative fuels in road passenger transport

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce jsou alternativní paliva v silniční osobní dopravě. Hlavním cílem je čtenářům představit druhy paliv a pohonů, zjistit jaká je situace v České republice a následně ekonomicky porovnat vybraná paliva. Práce je strukturována do pěti kapitol. Nejprve se věnuje představením paliv, jejich rozdělením a historií. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na charakteristiky, výhody a nevýhody paliv, které mohou tvořit alternativu k běžným benzinovým či naftovým motorům. Pohled na současnou situaci v České republice z hlediska vývoje spotřeby a cen paliv, počtu nově registrovaných vozů a podpory od státu pro automobily s alternativním pohonem je zmíněn ve třetí kapitole. Pro zjištění preferencí spotřebitelů vzhledem k alternativním palivům slouží čtvrtá kapitola. Závěr diplomové práce je věnován ekonomickému srovnání automobilů na vybraná paliva.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis is alternative fuels in road passenger transport. The main goal is to introduce the types of fuels and drives to the reader, to find out the situation in the Czech Republic and then to economically compare selected fuels. The thesis is structured into five chapters. First, it deals with the presentation of fuels, their distribution and history. The second chapter focuses on the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of fuels, which may result in an alternative to conventional gasoline or diesel engines. A view of the current situation in the Czech Republic in terms of fuel consumption and fuel prices, the number of newly registered vehicles and government support for alternative-fueled cars is mentioned in the third chapter. The fourth chapter is used to determine consumer preferences when it comes to alternative fuels. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to the economic comparison of cars using selected fuels.
