Diplomová práce se zabývá obecným vymezením regionální politiky, jejím fungováním v Evropské unii a v České republice. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu regionu soudržnosti Severozápad a analýzu jeho čerpání finančních prostředků z ROP Severozápad.
