The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of preparedness of the medical emergency services for an emergency with the occurrence of radioactive and nuclear substances. The theoretical part of the thesis concludes issues of ionizing radiation, radiation protection, nuclear accidents and the procedures of the emergency medical services in dealing with such emergencies. Bakalárska práca spracováva tematiku pripravenosti zdravotníckej záchrannej služby na mimoriadnu udalosť s výskytom rádioaktívnych a nukleárnych látok. Teoretická časť bakalárskej práce zahŕňa problematiku ionizujúceho žiarenia, radiačnej ochrany, jadrových nehôd a havárii a postupov ZZS pri riešení mimoriadnych udalostí s výskytom rádioaktívnych a nukleárnych látok.
