Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoreticko – metodologické a aplikační. V první části se autor věnuje vymezení klíčových pojmů, historii těchto lokalit a celkové problematice brownfieldů. Aplikační část sestává z jednotlivých podkapitol, které jsou zaměřeny na město Chotěboř, lokalitu řešeného areálu, jeho historii současný stav. Následně je popsán návrh revitalizace zájmového území.
