Drug addiction as a social aspect of health situation in selected population

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na drogovou závislost jako na jeden ze sociálních aspektů, které ovlivnil zdravotní situaci bývalých uživatelů drog. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezením základních pojmů týkajících se drogové závislosti. Soustřeďuje se také na definici zdraví a v neposlední řadě se zabývá významem odpovědnosti za vlastní zdraví v životě člověka. Cíle empirické části jsou rozděleny do tří oblastí. První z nich zkoumá důvody, které přiměly danou osobu abstinovat od návykových látek, další zjišťuje míru zlepšení zdravotního stavu respondentů od období závislosti až po současné abstinenční období a třetí se snaží zjistit, co je pro respondenta obsahem spojení ?chovat se odpovědně ke svému zdraví.? Pro empirickou část byl vybrán integrovaný přístup s převahou kvalitativních metod.

Abstract:

This thesis is focuses on drug addiction as one of the social aspects which affect the health status of former drug users. Theoretical part deals with the definition of basic terms related to drug addiction. It focuses also on the definition of health and of course deals with the importance of responsibility for their own health in a person's life. Objectives of the empirical part is divided into three areas. The first of these, examines the reasons which led the person to abstain from drugs, further finds peace improve the health status of the respondents according to the current abstinence period, and the third seeks to determine, what content is related to respondent's "act responsibly to your health". For the practical part was chosen integrated approach with a predominance of qualitative methods.
