Práce se zabývá analýzou vývoje akciového trhu v USA od roku 1989 do konce roku 2013. Zaměřuje se zejména na vývoj v průběhu krizí po roce 2000 a 2007. Snaží se přinést přehledné shrnutí a popis vývoje akcií v USA. Zaměřuje se na vývoj v indexů, ocenění akcií, fúzí, akvizic a IPO. Obsahuje krátký popis hlavních burz a nejdůležitějších indexů. The thesis analyzes the development of the stock market in the U.S. from 1989 to the end of 2013. Focuses mainly on developments during the crises in 2000 and 2007. Trying to bring a clear summary and description of the evolution of the shares in the USA. It focuses on the development of indices, stock valuation, mergers, acquisitions and IPO.
