Financial flows in education in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou financování základních škol v České republice se zaměřením na platy pedagogů. V práci je kladen důraz na problematiku fluktuace učitelů a nedostatečné platové ohodnocení pedagogů, jak v porovnání s jiným zeměmi OECD, tak i v českém prostředí v porovnání s platy soukromého sektoru. Následně je v práci komparováno hospodaření dvou podobně velkých škol, jsou podrobněji analyzovány finanční účty, které mají vazbu na platy zaměstnanců škol.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of financing primary schools in the Czech Republic with a focus on the salaries of teachers. The thesis emphasizes the issue of teacher turnover and insufficient salaries of teachers, both in comparison with other OECD countries and in the Czech environment in comparison with private sector salaries. Subsequently, the work compares the management of two similarly large schools, where the financial accounts are analyzed in more detail, which may be related to the salaries of school employees.
