Plants used as wound healing agents in folk medicines of Pacific Islands: a review of literature

Abstract:
The aim of this thesis was to identify medicinal plants used in folk medicine in Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia for wound healing. In the scientific literature, 150 species was found to be used for this purpose.
