Pupils with learning and behaviour disabilities at secondary school in the Czech Republic and Austria

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou žáků se specifickými poruchami učení a chování na střední odborné škole v Česku a Rakousku. Vysvětluje důležité pojmy a funkce související s poruchami učení a chování. První kapitola vystihuje teorii specifických poruch učení a chování, etiologii, příčiny neúspěšnosti žáků ve škole. Druhá kapitola této práce specifikuje poruchy učení a chování, popisuje vzdělávání znevýhodněných žáků včetně jejich uplatnění. Třetí kapitola analyzuje pedagogický výzkum a charakterizuje střední odborné školství v Česku a Rakousku. Představuje vyhodnocení přijímacího řízení, popisuje začlenění žáků do tohoto vzdělávání. Ve čtvrté kapitole závěru práce jsou prezentovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření, prováděného na střední odborné škole, týkající se vzdělávání znevýhodněných žáků.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with issues of pupils with specific learning disabilities and specific behaviour problems at the vocational school in the Czech Republic and Austria. It explains important terms and functions to learning and behaviour disorders. The first chapter describes the theory of specific learning disabilities and behavioural aetiology, causes of pupil failure at the school. The second chapter of this study specifies learning and behaviour disorders, describes the education of disadvantaged pupils, including their find employment. The third chapter analyzes educational research and characterizes the secondary vocational education in the Czech Republic and Austria. It presents an evaluation of the admission procedures, describes the integration of students into the education. In the fourth chapter of the diploma work conclusion are presented results of a survey conducted at the secondary school concerned on the education of disadvantaged students.
