COLLECTION REFLECTING FASHION TRENDS AND FOLLOWING OWN AUTHOR´S THEME.

Abstract:

Tématem mé kolekce je Reakce na módní trendy a přinášející vlastní autorské téma. Módní trendy jsou pro mne odrazem naší společnosti. To přivedlo mou pozornost na vývoj trendů a na to, kde módní návrháři čerpají inspiraci. V rámci rešerše jsem objevila mnoho zajímavých zdrojů, forecast webů a událostí, jež mi ucelily můj náhled na aktuální módní trendy. Celý koncept trendů se zdá být zaměřen na naši planetu, udržitelnost, péči o naše prostředí. Ale také na péči o lidi kolem nás, budování silných mezilidských pout a vztahů v rodině. To však zabere nějaký čas, a tak je chvíle na to se zastavit a zaměřit se na to, na čem opravdu záleží. To mne přivedlo k Japonskému konceptu Ikigai. Slovo Iki znamená život a slovo Kai realizaci toho v co doufáme a očekáváme. Má kolekce je inspirována přírodou, organickými tvary a tradičním Japonským oděvem. Mým cílem bylo vytvořit pohodlné oblečení pro ženy, které by bylo zároveň elegantní. Kolekce je tak vhodná jak do společnosti, tak pro volný čas. Zásadní byl výběr materiálů, zvolila jsem materiály přírodního původu s minimálním procentem syntetických vláken. Kolekce čítá tři oděvní celky a dva doplňky, které jsou barveny přírodními pigmenty.

Abstract:

Theme of my collection is Reaction to fashion trends bringing own authorial theme. Fashion trends, in my opinion, are a mirror of our society. This view made me be focused on how the trends are coming up and where fashion designers search for inspiration, becouse I was curious about our actual mood. I discovered lot of interesting facts and people this way and research gave me lot of answers to actual fashion trends. The overall cocept of trends seems to be focused on our planet, sustainability, taking care of our homes. But also taking care of other people, building strong friendships and families. Those thinks take time, so this is time to take a pause. Be focused on what really matters in our lives. It brought me to a Japanese Ikigai, whose meaning translates roughly to a reason for being. The word derives from iki, meaning life and kai, meaning the realisation of hopes and expectations. My collection is ispired by nature, organic shapes and also by traditional Japanese clothing. My goal was to create comfortable pieces of clothes for women, which would be still elegant. The collection is suitable for both company ans leisure wear. The choice of materials was crucial. I decided for nature fabric. The collection consists 3 cloth outfits and two handbags, which are dyied by nature pigments. The final impression should evoke a certain fragility and refer to interest in what is happening around us.
