Germanismus in the Novel \kur{The Good Soldier Svejk} by Jaroslav Hašek

Abstract:

This thesis deals with Germanisms that occur in the Novel The Good Soldier Svejk by Jaroslav Hašek. In the theoretical part I focus on the explanation of the terminology, which I then apply in the practical part. The practical part is composed of several researches in which I investigate, for example, the origin of words, their nature or the reason for borrowing a word.

Abstract:

Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit Germanismen, die im Roman Das Schicksal des braven Soldaten Svejk von Jaroslav Hašek vorkommen. Im theoretischen Teil konzentriere ich mich auf die Erklärung der Terminologie, die ich dann im praktischen Teil anwende. Der praktische Teil besteht aus mehreren Recherchen, in denen ich z. B. die Herkunft der Wörter, ihre Beschaffenheit oder den Grund für die Übernahme eines Wortes untersuche.
