The Expulsion of the Germans: the Historic Course and Reflection in the Novel "The Expulsion of Gerta Schnirch" by Kareřina Tučková

Abstract:

The historical part of the thesis deals with the role of german speaking inhabitants of Czechoslovakia established in 1918, language law and the expanse of nationaly-socialistic ideology in the parties. Special attntion is given to the relationship between E. Beneš and German people. Important role in the thesis plays the resolution of expultion of 3,2 milions of Sudetenland Germans through E. Beneš as the president and its realization by the executive power of the after-war governement. The literary-analytical part deals with the fictional elaboration of the evacuation in the novel "The Explusion of Gerta Schnirch". Student should follow up the actions and the paratemers of the figures.

Abstract:

V historické části práce je třeba rozvést roli německy mluvícího obyvatelstva v Československu založeném v roce 1918, jazykových zákonů a vzestupu národně socialistické ideologie v politických stranách. Zvláštní pozornosti se dostane vztahu Edvarda Beneše k Němcům. Důležitý bod práce představuje rozhodnutí o vyhnání 3,2 milionu sudetských Němců skrze E. Beneše coby prezidenta a jeho realizace poválečnou vládou jakožto výkonnou mocí. V literárně analytické části bude ve středu zájmu fiktivní zpracování odsunu v románu "Vyhnání Gerty Schnirch". Zde by se měl student zabývat jednáním a charakteristikou osob.
