The bachelor thesis deals with the role of the radiology assistant during the brachytherapy of prostate cancer. The theoretical part describes the prostate carcinoma, including the anatomical organization and functions of the bland, epidemiology, selected risk factors for prostate cancer, symptomatology, and the histological variants of prostatic carcinoma.
