The problem of anisometropia in refractive errors.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá anizometropií ve vztahu k jednotlivým refrakčním vadám a z ní plynoucí anizeikonií. Práce je rozdělena do sedmi kapitol. V první kapitole jsou připomenuty důležité poznatky o refrakčních vadách. Navazuje vysvětlení podstaty vzniku asymetrického vývoje refrakční vady mezi oběma očima. Následně bude vysvětlen nejdůležitější pojem práce, tedy popis samotné anizometropie, její příčiny, rozdělení a korekce. Pátá kapitola je věnována anizeikonii. Přibližuje problematiku jako je rozdělení, symptomy a diagnostika anizeikonie. Šestá kapitola se zabývá problémy, které mohou anizometropie a anizeikonie pacientovi způsobit. Nakonec je zařazena významná část práce – výzkumná. Zabývá se výskytem velikosti anizometropie v populaci, měřením anizeikonie a také vlivem brýlové korekce na potlačení anizometropie.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with anisometropia in relation to refractive errors and following anisekonia. The work is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is referring about important knowledge of refractive errors. It continues with explanation of asymmetric development of the refractive error between the two eyes. Subsequently, the most important term of work is described, namely the descriptin of anisometropia itself, its causes, division, correction. The fifth chapter is dedicated to anisekonia. It approaches issues such as the distribution, symptoms and diagnosis of anisekonia. The sixth chapter deals with the problems that anisometropia and anisekonia can cause to the patient. Finally, a significant part of the thesis is included - research. It focuses on the occurrence of the anisometropia in the population, the measurement of anisekonia and also the influence of spectacle correction to reduce anisometropia.
