Financial analysis of the enterprise

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je finanční analýza podniku provedená na základě účetních výkazů, jakožto v dnešní době neodmyslitelný nástroj a také podklad pro rozhodování podnikatelů, manažerů, řídících pracovníků, investorů, analytiků, věřitelů a jiných subjektů. Finanční analýza je pak aplikovaná na konkrétním podniku – Patraco s.r.o., zabývajícím se zejména zpracováním papíru. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, na teoreticko-metodologickou a aplikační. V teoreticko-metodologické části je zachycena podstata finanční analýzy a její význam. Dále pak přibližuje uživatele finanční analýzy spolu se zdroji informací potřebných pro samotnou analýzu. Poslední kapitola teoreticko-metodologické části je věnována jednotlivým metodám finanční analýzy, kde největší pozornost je věnována poměrové analýze a analýze absolutních ukazatelů. V aplikační části nejprve stručně charakterizuji vybraný podnik, následuje analýza účetních výkazů podniku. Celková finanční situace je posuzována podle základních ukazatelů jako jsou ukazatele rentability, zadluženosti, likvidity. V závěru celé bakalářské práce se nachází vyhodnocení celkové finanční situace podniku nejen z hlediska minulosti a současnosti, ale také s ohledem na budoucí vývoj.

Abstract:

The theme of my bachelor´s work is the financial analysis of the enterprise on the basis of the financial statements as the inherent tool and source of decision of entrepreneurs, managers, investors, analysts, creditors and other subjects. Financial analysis is applied to a particular enterprise – Patraco, s.r.o., which primarily does paper processing. The study is divided into two parts, theoretical - methodological part and application part. In theoretical-methodological part is taken down the principles of financial analysis and its meaning. It also describes the users of financial analysis and the sources of information for separate analysis. The last chapter of the theoretical - methodological part concentrates on particular methods of financial analysis, where the most attention is paid to leverage ratios and analysis of absolute ratios. At the begining of the application part I´m giving characteristics of a chosen enterprise, followed by an analysis of financial statements. Overall financial situation is judged by basic ratios such as ratio of profitability, liquidity and indebtedness. The conclusion of this thesis brings the assessment of the financial position of the company not only in the course of time but also with regard to the future development.
