Martin KonvičnýNázev: Perspektivy pěstování jedle v podmínkách ČR Cílem této diplomové práce bylo zhodnotit perspektivy pěstování jedle bělokoré v podmínkách České republiky v kontextu s nastupující změnou klimatu a probíhající kůrovcovou kalamitou a na základě zjištěných faktů navrhnout perspektivu dalšího pěstování této dřeviny. Hodnocení obnovy jedle bělokoré proběhlo na revíru Čeladná, který se nachází v Moravskoslezských Beskydech Vlastní šetření proběhlo v sedmnácti porostních skupinách, kde byly sadbou založeny jedlové kultury. Parametry pro výběr a vyhodnocení ploch byly zastínění kultur vedlejším porostem, anebo naopak růst jedinců na volné ploše. V rámci vybraných porostních skupin byly hodnoceny také dvě mlaziny, kdy jedna vznikla na kalamitní holině, druhá jako násečný obnovní prvek pro vnos melioračních a zpevňujících dřevin.Kritéria pro hodnocení vhodnosti odrůstání jedlí z umělé obnovy v různém krytí okolních porostů byla mortalita stromků na dané ploše, celková dosažená výška jedinců, délka jednotlivých ročních přírůstů, průměrná délka nejdelší boční větve a poměr výšky k délce nejdelší větve.Z výsledků měření vyplývá, že mortalita je nižší u porostů založených na volné ploše, nicméně rozdíl oproti mortalitě zastíněných porostů je nízký, v řádech jednotek procent. Celková průměrná výška jedinců, délka jednotlivých ročních přírůstů, délka nejdelší větve a poměr výšky k délce nejdelší větvě je v naprosté většině ve prospěch porostů rostoucích v zástinu. Rozdíly jsou však malé, často bez statistického významu.Závěrem byla navržena hospodářská doporučení pro praxi v podmínkách ČR. Tato doporučení se odvíjí od míry zasažení území kalamitou, jejíž příčinou je postupná změna klimatu. Lesní majetky, kde nejsou výrazné projevy změny klimatu, by měly s jedlí hospodařit v předsunutých, maloplošných prvcích a pracovat s podsadbou a podsíjí. V oblastech s předpokladem vzniku kalamity je potřeba vnášet jedli do porostů na každé vhodné stanoviště. Na územích, kde již kalamita probíhá, ale stále nemá charakter velkoplošného odlesnění celých lesních komplexů, je zapotřebí vyhledávat příhodná místa, kam je možno jedli sázet (okraje mateřského porostu, severní expozice, úžlabiny) a vytvářet vhodné mikroklimatické stanovištní podmínky (ponechání výstavků a pionýrských dřevin, snižování proudění vzduchu ukládáním klestu do vysokých valů, příměs rychle rostoucích dřevin). V oblastech silně zasažených kalamitou, kde se vytváří rozsáhlé holiny, musí být obnova jedle bělokoré spojena s přípravnými porosty.

Martin KonvičnýTitle of the work: Perspectives of silver fir cultivation in the conditions of the Czech RepublicThe aim of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the perspectives of silver fir cultivation in the conditions of the Czech Republic in the context of gradual climate change and ongoing bark beetle infestation and based on the findings to suggest a perspective for further cultivation of this tree species. The regeneration of European Silver fir was evaluate in the Čeladná district, which is located in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids.The research was carried out in seventeen stands, where the fir trees were established by planting. The parameters for the evaluation of the areas were shading of the young plantation by a collateral stand or on the contrary the growth of individual trees in the open area. Two thicket stands were also evaluated – one was formed on disaster clearing area, the other as a partial system for the intake of amelioration and firming trees.Criteria for assessing the growth of firs from artificial regenaration were: tree mortality in a given area, total height of individual trees, length of individual annual increments and length of the average and longest branch and the ratio of height to length of the longest branch.The result of the measurements show that mortality is lower in stands found in open area, however the difference from mortality of shaded stands is low, in the order of units of percent. The overall average height of individual trees, the length of individual annual increments, length of the longest branch and the ratio of height to length of the longest branch are in the vast majority in favor of shade-grown stands. However, the differences are low, often without a statistical importance.In conclusion, economic recommendations were proposed to be implemented into practice for the specific conditions of the Czech Republic. These recommendations are based on the extent to which the territory is affected by the calamity caused by gradual climate change. Forest estates, where there are no significant signs of climate change, should manage firs in small area elements and work with underplanting and sowing. In areas likely to develop calamity, it is necessary to bring firs to the stand at every suitable habitat. In areas where the calamity is already occurring but still there is no sign of large-scale deforestation of whole forest complexes, it is necessary to seek convenient places to plant the fir (maternal margins, northern exposures, valleys) and create suitable microclimatic habitat conditions (keeping exhibitions and pioneering tree species, reducing air flow by storing brushwood in tall walls, admixture of fast-growing tree species). In areas heavily affected by calamity, extensive clearings are formed, the regeneration of the silver fir must be linked to the preparatory stands.
