Barriers and Support Resources for Trainee Supervisors in Implementing Supervision into Social Service Institutions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Bariery a zdroje podpory pro začínající supervizory při zavádění supervize do zařízení sociálních služeb“ se zaměřuje na problémy, se kterými se může setkat začínající supervizor při zavádění supervize do zařízení sociálních služeb, a co nebo kdo mu naopak při jeho práci pomáhá, v čem nachází zdroje podpory. V teoretické části práce je nejprve vymezen pojem supervize s jejími cíly, funkcemi a typy. Velká míra pozornosti je pak v práci věnována komplexnímu pohledu na pozici supervizora, a to nejen v oblasti sociálních služeb. Empirická část, která využívá metod kvalitativního výzkumu dle Strausse a Corbinové, již konkrétně směřuje k popisu cesty začínajícího supervizora v procesu supervize v sociálních službách. Postupně se tak odkrývá jeho spolupráce s vedením zařízení, se supervidovanými i s týmovým kolegou. Výsledky výzkumného šetření jsou vymezeny v analytické triádě otevřeného, axiálního a selektivního kódování.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis „Barriers and Support Resources for Trainee Supervisors in Implementing Supervision into Social Service Institutions“ focuses on the difficulties that trainee supervisors may meet with when implementing supervision into social services institutions, who or what helps them in their job and where they can find support resources. The theoretical part introduces the concept of supervision together with its goals, functions and types. Special attention in the thesis is given to a global view of the supervisor`s position, not only in the area of social services. The empirical part, which uses the method of qualitative research by Strauss and Corbin, is aimed at the description of steps of a trainee supervisor in the process of supervision in social services. Their cooperation with the management of the institutions, the supervised and their colleague in the team is gradually revealed. The findings of the research are specified in the analytical triad of an open, auxial and selective coding.
