Práce se zabývá rolí mezinárodního společenství v konfliktu ve Rwandě. Jejím cílem je poskytnout komplexní pohled na postoj OSN a Spojených států ke konfliktu ve Rwandě a zasadit jej do širšího rámce. Práce se proto nejprve snaží přinést základní vhled do konfliktu ve Rwandě, genocida z jara 1994 je zde zasazena do historických souvislostí. Abstract:
The thesis analyse the role of the international community in the Rwandan conflict. Its aim is to provide a complex view of the UN and the USA attitude towards Rwanda and to analyse wider circumstances that led to it.
