Analysis of the impact of the Triangle industrial zone on unemployment in the villages of the administrative district Žatec

Abstract:

Záměrem bakalářské práce bylo provést analýzu vlivu průmyslové zóny Triangle na nezaměstnanost v obcích správního obvodu Žatec. V teoretické části je rozebráno pojetí regionální politiky a regionálního rozvoje, strukturální nezaměstnanost v České republice, český trh práce a jeho flexibilita, přímé zahraniční investice a jejich podpora v ČR, realizace přímých zahraničních investic a jejich souvislost s nezaměstnaností v ČR. Praktická část se věnuje správnímu obvodu Žatec, je zde popsána strategická průmyslová zóna Triangle, její vznik, historie i současnost. Je analyzována souvislost průmyslové zóny s růstem i poklesem nezaměstnanosti ve správním obvodu Žatec, provedena SWOT analýza zóny, analýza konkrétních statistických dat o nezaměstnanosti a proveden výzkum formou dotazníku o povědomí a názoru občanů správního obvodu Žatec o strategické průmyslové zóně Triangle. Analýza je zakončena výhledem budoucího vývoje SPZ Triangle.

Abstract:

The intention of this thesis was to analyze the influence of the Triangle industrial zone on the unemployment in the villages of the administrative district Zatec. The theoretical part analyzes the concept of the regional policy and the regional development, structural unemployment in the Czech Republic, the Czech labor market and its flexibility, foreign direct investments and their support in the Czech Republic, implementation of foreign direct investments and their impact on the unemployment in the country. The practical part is addressing the situation in the administrative district Zatec, here is described the strategic industrial zone Triangle, its foundation, history and the present. The impact of the industrial zone on the growth and the reduction of the unemployment in the administrative district Zatec is analyzed. As well the SWOT analysis of this area, analysis of the statistical data on the unemployment is done. Last but not least there is the questionnaire research organized on the awareness and the opinion of the administrative district Zatec citizens about the strategic industrial zone Triangle. The analysis is concluded with the future development proposal for the strategic industrial zone Triangle.
