Diplomová práce pojednává o recepci George Sandové v českých zemích v 19. století a na začátku 20. století a o vztahu George Sandové k Čechám. Druhá část práce se soustředí na české autory, které George Sandová ovlivnila, tedy Karolinu Světlou, Sofii Podlipskou, Jaroslava Vrchlického a Boženu Němcovou. Diploma thesis deals with the perception of George Sand in the Czech lands during the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century and with her relation to Czech lands. The next part of thesis focuses on the Czech writers influenced by the works of George Sand: Karolina Světlá, Sofie Podlipská, Jaroslav Vrchlický and Božena Němcová.
