Refractive Errors

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Refrakční vady je především zaměřená na popis jednotlivých typů základních refrakčních vad - krátkozrakost (myopie), dalekozrakost (hypermetropie) a astigmatizmus, na jejich charakteristické znaky, projevy, příčiny vzniku, prognózu a výskyt v populaci. Rozebírá možnosti korekce refrakčních vad, ať už je to korekce brýlemi, kontaktními čočkami, nebo dnes se neustále rozvíjející chirurgickou léčbou. Stručně popisuje anatomii oka, kterou je nezbytné znát při vyšetřování oka a jeho adnex. Vysvětluje průchod světelných paprsků, fyziologické a patologické refrakční změny během vývoje, funkci a parametry jednotlivých funkčních struktur optického systému oka na základě Gullstrandova schematického oka. Rovněž upozorňuje na nutnost dodržení přesně stanovených postupů při vyměřování optimální korekce optometristou, také při práci očního optika, při zhotovování a následném vydávání brýlí zákazníkovi.

Abstract:

The intention of thesis Refractive errors is to describe the individual types of basic refractive errors - shortsightedness (myopia), nearsightedness ( hypermetropia), astigmatism, its characteristic features, displays, causes of genesis, prognosis and occurrence in population. It analyzes the possibilities of correcting the refractive errors. This correction can be done either by spectacles, contact lens or by constantly developing surgical treatment. It briefly describes the anatomy of eye that is very important when examining the eye and its adnex. It also explains the passage of light rays, physiological and pathological refractive changes during the development, function and the parameters of individual functional structures of optical system of eye based on Gullstrand´s schematic eye. It points out on necessity of keeping the given procedures when we measure the optimal correction which is made by optometrists, by the work of optician, when we produce and hand the spectacles in to the customer.
