Applications of Riemann integral in theory of certain planar curves

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabýváme aplikacemi Riemannova integrálu v teorii rovinných křivek, pozornost je věnována především jejich geometrickým charakteristikám. Práce je rozdělena na dvě kapitoly, dodatek a přílohu. V první kapitole se věnujeme teorii a v druhé uvádíme konkrétní výpočty. V dodatku rozvádíme některé další poznatky především z první kapitoly, v příloze pak najdeme výpočty z matematického softwaru Maple 17. Práce je doplněna grafy, které byly vytvořeny v~softwaru Geogebra 5.0 a v softwaru Maple 17.

Abstract:

In this thesis, we study applications of the Riemann integral in the theory of planar curves. We focus especially on their geometric characteristics. The thesis is divided into two chapters, supplement and appendix. The theory is included in the first chapter and the computations are presented in the second chapter. In the supplement, we can find some other knowledge developing the first chapter. In the appendix, there are computations from the mathematical software Maple 17. Several graphs were included to the thesis and they were made in software GeoGebra 5.0 and Maple 17.
