Abstract:
Většina klostridií je schopna tvořit toxiny, které způsobují onemocnění lidí i zvířat. Tyto toxiny jsou proteinové povahy. Klostridia tvoří buď neurotoxiny nebo histotoxiny. Ke skupině neurotoxinů patří botulotoxin produkovaný Clostridium botulinum a způsobující onemocnění zvané botulizmus a tetanospasmin produkovaný Clostridium tetani, které způsobuje onemocnění zvané tetanus. Most of Clostridium bacteria produce proteinaceous toxins causing human or animals diseases. Clostridium can produce neurotoxins or histotoxins. The group of neurotoxins includes botulotoxin produced by Clostridium botulinum. It causes botulism and tetanospasmin produced by Clostridium tetani causes tetanus.
