Nuclear power plant Temelín and it influence on the surrounding

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem jaderné energetiky, která má mnoho odpůrců i příznivců. Zvoleným příkladem se stala Jaderná elektrárna Temelín,a to jak ovlivňuje okolí z hlediska demografického vývoje, sociálního, environmentálního, ale i ekonomického. Sledovány a hodnoceny jsou tedy dopady na okolní obce a jejich rozvoj, například na cestovní ruch v tomto regionu, zaměstnanost a dojížďku za prací a také ráz krajiny. Práce popisuje také dvě etapy vývoje regionu, tj. před zahájením výstavby a spouštěním elektrárny. Součástí bakalářské práce je kvalitativní výzkum, který zahrnuje sběr informací o Jaderné elektrárně Temelín z denního tisku a dále kvantitativní výzkum při kterém bylo využito dotazníkové šetření.

Abstract:

This becholor´s thesis deals with the issue of nuclear energy, which has many detractors and supporters. Selected examples of Temelin nuclear power plant has become, and how it affects surrounding in terms of demographic trends, social, environmental, but also economic. Monitored and evaluated are the impacts on the surrounding community and their development, such as tourism in the region, employment and commuting to the work, and also the character of the landscape. The becholor´s thesis also describes the two stages of the development of the region, i. e. prior to the start of construction and startup of the power plant. Part of the Bachelor's thesis is the qualitative research, which involves the collection of information about the nuclear power plant Temelin from daily newspapers and on quantitative research in which the survey was used.
