Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vydáváním a recepcí české poezie v letech 1990 – 2010 se zaměřením na čtyři hlavní brněnská nakladatelství. V první části práce se věnuji recepci, sleduji vývoj v jejích změnách od pádu komunismu až do současnosti, protože čtenářská recepce a kritická reflexe velmi úzce souvisí s vydáváním poezie a jejím financováním. Ve druhé části se pak pokouším zmapovat historii financování poezie až po dnešní situaci v souvislosti se vztahem k dnešnímu knižnímu trhu (sponzoři, náklady, výběr autorů) s dnešním (ne)zájmem o poezii. Ve své práci se snažím nastínit a objasnit, proč se dnešní poezie „nečte, ale vydává“, popsat aktuální stav tzv. „krizi poezie“; v době, kdy jí současně se zvýšením DPH hrozí skutečný zánik.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the publishing and reception of Czech poetry in 1990 - 2010, focusing on four major publishing houses in Brno. The first part is devoted to the reception, watching the changes in its development since the fall of communism to the present, because the reading reception and the critical reflection is closely related to the poetry publishing and financing. In the second part I am trying to map the history of poetry financing also in the context of the relationship to today's book market (sponsors, costs, choice of authors) and interest/no interest in poetry. Overall, in my work I try to outline and explain why today's poetry „is not read, but Publisher“, to describe the current status of the so-called „crisis of poetry“ while simultaneously Czech poetry is threatened by the real extinction due to VAT increase.
