Nespecifické mechanismy jsou jako první zapojovány do obranných reakcí proti škodlivinám. Jejich reakce je velmi rychlá. Mezi nejvýznamnější mechanismy nespecifické imunity patří fagocytóza a komplement. Experimentální část se zaměřovala na stanovení nespecifických imunitních parametrů v krvi a krevním séru koček. Inflammatory mechanisms are involved in the first defense barrier against harmful substances. Their reaction is very fast. Complement, and phagocytosis stand among the most important mechanisms of innate immunity.
