Practical comparison of non-parallel and parallel differential evolution

Abstract:

V rámci této práce je popsán, navržen a implementován algoritmus diferenciální evoluce v pseudo-paralelním režimu v prostředí MATLAB. V rámci experimentu je užívána adaptivní verze algoritmu diferenciální evoluce SHADE, jelikož se jedná o rozšířenou variantu úspěšné varianty JADE. Paralelní varianty algoritmu jsou založeny na migračním modelu a jsou zaměřeny na nastavení velikostí paralelních populací. K testování algoritmů jsou vybrány testovací úlohy CEC 2015, které aktuálně patří k nejlepšímu měřítku pro nové optimalizační algoritmy. Výsledky experimentu jsou statisticky zpracovány a účinnost algoritmu je porovnána k odhalení účinnosti paralelního modelu.

Abstract:

Within this thesis is described, proposed and implemented the algorithms of differential evolution in pseudo-parallel mode in the MATLAB environment. Within this experiment is used adaptive version of algorithm differential evolution SHADE, inasmuch as it´s extended the already successful variant of JADE. Parallel version of algorithm are made on migration model and focused on settings of size parallel populations. For the testing are chosen this testing´s tasks the task CEC 2015, which are actually the best benchmark of the new optimization algorithm. The results of the experiments are statistically processed and the efficiency of algorithm is comparing to the efficiency revealed of parallel mode.
