Abstract:

In the first part we described the anatomy of the cervical spine and shoulder, the pathophysiology of cervicobrachialgia and trigger points and their possible link. In the second part we presented the case of a lady, with a picture of cervicobrachialgia with the presence of a trigger point in the supraspinatus that was treated following the indications of the most recent literature. The patient, when the treatment was completed, proved to be satisfied, having recovered and maintained a good functionality of the limb without suffering more pain.

Abstract:

Nella prima parte abbiamo descritto l'anatomia della colonna cervicale e della spalla, la fisiopatologia delle cervicobrachialgie e dei trigger points e del possibile loro legame. Nella seconda parte abbiamo presentato il caso di una signora con quadro di cervicobrachialgia con presenza di un trigger point nel sovraspinoso che ? stato trattato seguendo le indicazioni della letteratura pi? recente. La paziente, a trattamento concluso, si dimostrava soddisfatta, avendo recuperato e mantenuto una buona funzionalit? dell'arto senza accusare pi? dolore.
