Crisis Negotiations

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Krizové vyjednávání“ je zaměřena na policejní vyjednavače a jejich specifickou činnost, vyjednávání s osobami demonstrující úmysl sebevražedného jednání, dále jen osoby DÚSJ. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je komunikace z pohledu specifikace činnosti – profese ve struktuře PČR. Tato kapitola obsahuje vyjednávání a krizové vyjednávání, kde je zmíněn vývoj, proces a charakteristika krizového vyjednávání. Další kapitola je zaměřena na osoby DÚSJ, agresi a sebevraždu. V poslední části je vyjednávací tým, jeho složení a pracovní harmonogram vyjednávacího procesu. Na teoretickou část navazuje část praktická, ve které jsou statistiky páchání sebevražd od roku 2007 do roku 2017, dělené na dokonané sebevraždy podle období, motivu, pohlaví, provedení a vzdělání, dokumenty potřebné k vyjednávání a tři kazuistické analýzy, na kterých je zkoumán postup celého procesu vyjednávání. Celou práci doprovázejí výpovědi poskytnuté od policejních vyjednavačů s dlouholetou praxí, kteří anonymně odpovídají a doprovázejí práci svými poznatky a zkušenostmi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Crisis Negotiation" is focused on police negotiators and their specific activity, negotiation with people demonstrating the intention of suicidal behavior, further referred to as DÚSJ persons. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part is focused on the perspective of activity specification - the profession in the structure of the Czech Police. This chapter contents negotiation and crisis negotiation, where the development, process and characteristics of crisis negotiation are mentioned. The next chapter focuses on the DÚSJ people, aggression and suicide. The last part contains informations about the negotiating team, its composition and the work schedule of the negotiation process. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which includes the suicide statistics from 2007 to 2017, divided into finished suicides by period, theme, gender, method of execution and education, documents needed for negotiation and three casuistic studies analyzing the whole process of negotiation. The whole work is accompanied by statements provided by police negotiators with longtime experience, who anonymously respond and complement the thesis with their knowledge and experience.
