Abstract:

Cílem této práce je vypozorovat změny v používání metafor v hodinách angličtiny ve virtuální realitě vůči metaforám používaným v offline prostředí fyzického světa. Práce kombinuje teorie osvojování jazyka a používání metafor se základním komu-nikačním schématem a navrhuje, že za určitých podmínek dochází ke změně koncep-tuálních systémů klasifikace identity a přítomnosti při účasti ve VR lekci. Propojovacím aspektem teorie a aplikace je faktor poznávání prostřednictvím smyslů.

Abstract:

This thesis aims to observe changes in the use of metaphors in English lessons in Virtual Reality as opposed to the metaphors used in the offline setting of the physical world. The thesis combines the theories of language acquisition and metaphor usage with a basic communication scheme to propose that under certain conditions, there is a change in conceptual systems of classifying identity and presence when participating in the VR lesson. The connecting aspect of the theory and application is the factor of experience through the senses.
