Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce ?Evropská dobrovolná služba z pohledu německých dobrovolníků v Plzni? je zhodnocení Evropské dobrovolné služby, kterou absolvovali němečtí dobrovolníci v Plzni. Práci lze rozčlenit do tři hlavních částí. První kapitoly práce tvoří teoretický rámec k problematice dobrovolnictví. Úvodní kapitola má za úkol objasnit pojem dobrovolnictví a poukázat na jeho formy a oblasti. Následující kapitola je zaměřená na motivaci k dobrovolné angažovanosti, zde je kladen důraz na obecné a specifické motivy pomáhat. Třetí kapitola teoretické části je věnována situaci dobrovolnictví jak v České republice tak i v jiných státech, m.j. USA, Anglie a Německo. Zde je představen obsah Mezinárodní deklarace o dobrovolnictví a ustanovení českého Zákona o dobrovolnické službě. Program Evropská dobrovolná služba (EDS) je předmětem další kapitoly, následována výkladem o významu dobrovolnictví. Pojítkem mezi teoretickou a výzkumnou částí práce je metodologie, která obsahuje vymezení výzkumného souboru, operacionalizaci výzkumného problému, vymezení výzkumné strategie a metod, popis technik a prostředí sběru dat a také způsob vyhodnocení dat. Hlavním výzkumným cílem práce je zjistit, jak němečtí dobrovolníci nahlíží na absolvovanou EDS v Plzni. Za cíl práce, který bude možno aplikovat do praxe, si autorka práce klade získat podklady pro formulaci doporučení pro kvalitnější provedení programu EDS v Plzni. V praktické části práce se dostáváme k interpretaci výsledku výzkumného šetření, shrnutí výsledku a k doporučení pro praxi. V závěru práce je zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor?s thesis entitled ?European Voluntary Service from perspective of German volunteers in Pilsen? is an evaluation of the European Voluntary Service completed by German volunteers in the city of Plzen. The thesis can be subdivided into three main chapters. The first of these chapters constructs a theoretical framework on the topic of volunteering. This opening section is meant to explain the concept of volunteering and suggest its various forms and work areas. The following chapter is dedicated to analyzing motivations to become active; miscellaneous general and specific motives for wanting to help are being pointed out. The third chapter of the theoretical part is focused on volunteering in the Czech Republic as well as in other countries, such as the USA, England and Germany. In this section, the contents of the Universal Declaration on Volunteering and the establishment of the Czech law on voluntary services will be introduced. The European Voluntary Service (EVS) programme is the subject of the next chapter, followed by a commentary on the significance of volunteering. The connection between the theoretical and investigative part of the thesis is a methodology which includes the limitation of the investigative body of the work, thorough research on the problem, the circumscription of the investigative strategies and systems, explanation of methods, and the settings of data collection as well as data evaluation. The main goal of the research is to identify how German volunteers look back on their EVS in Plzen. The author?s objective, which can also be applied in praxis, is to identify conditions for more qualitative EVS project work in Plzen. In the practical part of the paper, we are looking at the interpretation and outcome of the research, a summary of these and suggestions for the praxis. The conclusion of the work will answer the initial investigatory question.
