Diplomová práce se zabývá prevencí kolorektálního karcinomu u seniorů nad 60 let. V teoretické části jsou prezentovány poznatky týkající se problematiky seniorského věku (vymezení pojmu, definice a kategorizace stáří, zhodnocení funkční zdatnosti a involuční změny), kolorektálního karcinomu (jeho definici, etiologii, kliniku, diagnostiku, léčbu a prognózu) a jeho prevence.
