Oral candidiasis

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of illness caused by yeasts in oral cavity and that, concretely, is kind of Candida. The whole piece of work is classified into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical section describes the problem of above mentioned themes and is deriving from the scientific sources. The section is divided into separate chapters that are further itemised into subchapters. In the theoretical part is described structure of physiological mucous membrane in the oral cavity, normal microbial flora there and immune mechanisms which protect it. This work also deals with descriptions of the kind of Candida, factors which influence origin of illnesses caused by Candida in mouth, division of oral candidiasis, description of illnesses alike candidiasis, diagnostics and options of treatment.

Abstract:

Bakalárka práca sa zaoberá problematikou kvasinkového ochorenia v dutine ústnej, a to konkrétne druhom Candida. Práca je rozdelená na teoretickú a praktickú časť. Teoretická časť popisuje problematiku podľa uvedených vedeckých zdrojov a je rozdelená na kapitoly a podkapitoly. V teoretickej časti je popísaná stavba fyziologickej sliznice v dutine ústnej, jej prirodzená mikroflóra, mechanizmy imunity, ktoré ju chránia. Ďalej sa práca zameriava na popis rodu Candida, faktory ovplyvňujúce vznik kandidového ochorenia v ústach, rozdelenie orálnych kandidóz, popis podobných ochorení, diagnostiku a možnosti liečby.
