The presented master's thesis is mainly about clarifying the beginning of the composition of music for film by one of the most important authors of Brno film music, Jan Novak (1921-1984). V predkladanej magisterskej diplomovej práci sa predovšetkým jedná o objasnenie začiatku kompozície hudby k filmu u jedného z najvýznamnejších autorov brnenskej filmovej hudby Jana Nováka (1921–1984).
