Cross-border cooperation on the area of Euroregion Labe/ Elbe

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce je věnována přeshraniční spolupráci v Euroregionu Elbe/Labe, který působí na česko-saské hranici. Práce se zabývá prostřednictvím zkoumaných projektů přeshraniční spolupráce, možnostmi využití řeky Labe, jakožto společným zájmem obou regionů. Nastíněním klíčových témat přeshraniční spolupráce, poukazuje na jejich důležitost v česko-saském pohraničí. Na základě sekundární literatury k tématu a využití informačních portálů jednotlivých projektů, sleduje aktivitu institucí, měst a obcí, v rámci vytyčených prioritních os jakými je doprava, životní prostředí a cestovní ruch. Důraz je položen na otázku budoucího využití řeky Labe jako mezinárodního zájmu v rámci prioritních os Evropské unie. V závěru práce jsou prezentovány výsledky zkoumání a možnosti pro rozšíření spolupráce na řece Labe.

Abstract:

Presented thesis is focused on cross border cooperation in Euroregion Elbe/Labe, which acts on Czech - Saxon border. Thesis deals with help of examined cross border cooperation projects, possibilities of using the river Labe like common interest of both regions. With pointing on key subjects of cross border cooperation, demonstrate the importance of these projects in Czech Saxon border region. Based on secondary literature to this topic and with using of information portals of all these projects follow the institutions, cities and village activities within outlined themes like transport, natural environment and tourism. Very important is the question of the future use of the river like the international interest within priority axis from the European Union. At last are presented the results of research and the possibilities for expand cooperation on the river Labe.
