The Regionalization of Egypt

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá celkovou geografickou charakteristikou Egypta. Při popisu jednotlivých geografických složek je vždy pohlíženo na provázanost oboru se zaměřením na socioekonomickou regionalizaci Egypta. Hlavním cílem je nastínit specifika jednotlivých území rozvržením do regionů a navrhnout didaktické využití tématu v hodinách zeměpisu na základní škole. Na základě regionalizace lze vystihnout budoucí vývoj země a lze pozorovat v čase, jak se země mění a s ní i jednotlivé oblasti. Například rozvojem projektu Nové údolí budou vznikat nová zemědělská centra a s tím i nové průmyslové lokality.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the overall geographic characteristics of Egypt. In descriptions of the various geographic components it is always focused on the field co-herence with a socio-economic regionalization of Egypt. The main objective is to outline the specifics of each areas in the region layout and to propose educational use in the geography lessons in elementary schools. The future development of the area can be described on the base of the region layout and the changes in the country and in its individual areas can be observed in time. For example, thanks to New Valley Project the new agricultural centers and the new industrial sites will be created.
