Use of the microcontroller for measuring of photocatalytic properties of surfaces

Abstract:

Práce zpracovává problematiku měření účinnosti fotokatalýzy probíhající na speciálně upravených površích. Krom teoretického uvedení a pojednání o současných možnostech využití tohoto děje, zpracovávají další kapitoly stěžejní část práce, a to návrh, vývoj, ladění a testování zařízení určeného k měření fotokatalytických vlastností povrchů. Podrobně je zpracován návrh, tvorba a výsledné provedení elektroniky, která spolu s mechanickými částmi přístroje slouží k provádění měření. Pro řízení a zpracování signálů byl vytvořen program pro mikrokontroler, jehož jednotlivé části jsou v práci blíže popsány. Součástí práce je rovněž v dnešní době neodmyslitelné využití počítače pomocí speciálního programu pro příjem, zobrazení a uchování naměřených hodnot. Demonstrace možností vyrobeného přístroje proběhla přeměřením vzorků, jejichž povrch byl předem upraven nanesením fotokatalyticky aktivní vrstvy. Výsledky jsou diskutovány na konci práce.

Abstract:

This thesis is aimed at measuring the effectiveness of photocatalysis running on specially adjusted surfaces. Besides theoretical introduction and options of using this process, the following chapters are focused on crucial part of the thesis which are design, development, debugging and testing the equipment designated to measure the photocatalytic properties of surfaces. The work focuses in detail on designing, production and final design of electronics which are altogether with the mechanical parts of the device used to perform measurements. To control and process signals was created a programme for the microcontroller of which the particular components are closely described. The work also shows the use of a computer programme for the reception, display and storage of measured values. The options of the device were demonstrated through measuring the samples of which the surface was adjusted in advance by applying a photocatalytically active layer. The results are discussed at the end of the work.
