The influence of casting parameters on zinc alloy porosity and strength

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá v teoretické části rozdělením a vlastnostmi zinkových slitin. Zahrnuje přehled a popis konvenčních i nekonvenčních metod lití. Popisuje vybrané faktory lití kovů. V experimentální části se zabývá sledováním vlivu licích parametrů na výslednou porezitu a pevnost dílu ze zinkové slitiny. Použité metody zkoušení odlitků, respektive vzorků ze slitiny ZnAl4Cu1 (dle ČSN 423560). V části vyhodnocení uvádí doporučené parametry lití pro daný stroj ve firmě Beneš a Lát, a.s. Tato práce uvádí také ekonomické zhodnocení, které je důležitou součástí každé výroby. Výsledky zkoušek jsou zobrazeny do přehledných tabulek, dále jsou počítány aritmetické průměry a směrodatné odchylky naměřených výsledků. Z aritmetických průměrů jsou sestaveny grafy, které složí pro srovnání výsledků a následném vyhodnocení. V této práci jsou popsány použité zkoušky a jejich normy, které byli použity v této bakalářské práci.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the distribution and properties of zinc alloys in theoretical part. It includes an overview and description of conventional and unconventional methods of casting. It describes selected factors of metal casting. The experimental part deals with monitoring the effect of casting parameters on the final porosity and strength of parts made of zinc alloy. Thesis includes used test methods of casting, respectively samples of the alloy ZnAl4Cu1 (according to CSN 423560). Evaluation shows the recommended parameters for the molding machine in company Benes and Lat Inc. There is also provided an economic evaluation, which is an important part of every production. The test results are presented in tables. Furthermore there are calculated arithmetic means and standard deviations of the measured results. From the arithmetic means are assembled graphs, which serve for the comparison of results and evaluation. In this work there are described used tests and standards that were used in this bachelor thesis.
