Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá etickými dilematy human resources manažerů v Londýně a následným etickým rozhodováním z jejich vlastní perspektivy. V teoretické části jsou vymezené a definované klíčové pojmy jako je etika, byznys etika, etické dilema, etické rozhodování a hodnoty. Druhá kapitola představuje kvalitativní výzkumnou strategii a výzkumný nástroj – polostrukturovaný rozhovor, který byl použit pro rozhovory s londýnskými human resources manažery. V empirické části jsou interpretována data získaná z rozhovorů a hlavní etická dilemata a etické rozhodování je popsáno. V závěru je zhodnoceno hlavní zjištění práce spolu s doporučeními a kritickou reflexí výzkumu.

Abstract:

Master’s thesis is focused on human resources managers in London and the ethical dilemmas they face at their work place and also what influence the ethical decision making process. The view is held from the perspective of human resources managers itself. In the theoretical part, key words such as ethics, business ethics, ethical dilemma, ethical decision making and values are defined. Second chapter sets out the methodology such as research strategy, operationalization, triangulation, sampling, data collection, data analysis and ethics of research. Research was done by using semi structured interviews with human resources managers in London. The third chapter analyses and interprets data collected and answers sub and the main research questions about the most common ethical dilemmas of human resources managers and the ethical dilemma decision making process. The final chapter provides conclusion and summary of the research followed by recommendation and critical reflection.
