Selected Chapters from the Theory of a Literary Artwork: Russian Formalism and Anglo-American New Criticism
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce komplexně představuje dva přístupy ke zkoumání literárního díla, jež ovlivňovaly literární teorii v první polovině 20. století. První část práce je zaměřena na ruský formalismus, druhá část práce je věnována angloamerické Nové kritice. V práci je přiblížen vznik, vývoj, význam, hlavní teze, východiska a požadavky zmíněných literárněvědných směrů.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis thoroughly examines two of the most influential literary theoretical approaches of the first half of the twentieth century. The first part of the thesis deals with Russian formalism, the second part with Anglo-American New Criticism. The thesis documents the beginnings, evolution, preconditions, main ideas and influence of both respective literary theoretical approaches.
