Relationship between the speed and intensity of traffic flow on roads in Pardubice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na časová zdržení při průjezdu vozidel jednotlivými úseky pozemních komunikací v závislosti na intenzitě dopravního proudu, resp. času průjezdu (rychlosti) na využití kapacity pozemní komunikace. Tento vztah je zkoumán v konkrétních podmínkách Pardubic. Je navržena metodika provádění průzkumů. Posouzena je možnost využití deterministické BPR funkce pro tento účel a na závěr jsou diskutovány výsledky.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the time delays during the passage of vehicles by individual sections of the roads depending on the intensity of the traffic flow, of the transit time (speed) to use the capacity of the road. This relationship is examined in the specific conditions of Pardubice. A survey methodology is proposed. The possibility of using a deterministic BPR function for this purpose is examined and results are discussed at the end.
