Corporate Social Responsibility of the Food Business Operators

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zabývá implementací programu společenské odpovědnosti organizací (CSR), vývojem a současnou podobou témat konkrétních programů začleněných do procesů zkoumaných organizací. Cílem práce je nalézt postup pro implementaci programu CSR vyhovující legislativním požadavkům, vymezit aspekty zveřejňování nefinančních informací a identifikovat klíčová témata programů CSR u zkoumaných distributorů potravin působících na území České republiky. První část práce přibližuje dosavadní historický vývoj a teoretická východiska konceptu společenské odpovědnosti. V následující kapitole je vytvořen stručný legislativní a institucionální rámec, přičemž teoretická východiska jsou prakticky aplikována ve třetí a čtvrté kapitole. Ty přibližují čtenáři proces implementace politiky společenské odpovědnosti a analyzují vývoj a současnou skladbu témat programů CSR vybraných organizací.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, its development and current state of specific programs topics incorporated into the processes of the examined companies. The aim of this thesis is to find a right course of action for the implementation of a CSR program complying with legislative requirements, to define aspects of disclosing non-financial information and to identify key topics of CSR programs at the examined food distributors operating in the Czech Republic. The first section of the thesis focusses on historical development and theoretical background of the concept of corporate social responsibility. In the following chapter, a concise legal and institutional framework is established while the theoretical background is practically applied in the third and fourth chapter. Those sections specify the process of implementing of the corporate social responsibility policy and analyze the development and current composition of the topics of CSR programs of selected companies.
