První část práce obsahuje úvod do problematiky navigačního softwaru a pokračuje přehledem a srovnáním navigačních systémů, dostupných pro mobilní linuxové platformy. The thesis begins with a small introduction to the area of navigation software and continues with comparison of FOSS navigation software available for mobile Linux-based devices. Selection of a FOSS navigation system for further modification is described. Implementation of the new navigation system modRana and its features are then discussed.
