Covid-19 and its impacts on the management of the organization

Abstract:

Předložené práce je zaměřena na popsání managementu jakožto řídícího procesu ve firmě Synthomer a.s. a na změny zmíněného managementu v organizaci během a po pandemii covid-19. Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část obsahuje popis onemocnění covid-19 spolu s dopadem tohoto onemocnění na svět a dále podrobnou charakteristiku managementu skládající se z plánování, organizování, vedení a kontrolování. Témata byla zpracována na základě internetových článků a odborné literatury od českých i zahraničních autorů a byla následně použita i k vypracování praktické části. Praktická část byla vypracována za pomoci kvalitativní a kvantitativní metody výzkumu. Jednalo se o strukturovaný rozhovor s manažerem a o rozeslání dotazníků všem zaměstnancům IT oddělení firmy Synthomer a.s.. Na základě těchto dvou metod byly následně vytvořeny podkapitoly praktické části. Závěrem spolupráce s manažerem bylo představení inovací a doporučení týkající se technické vybavenosti oddělení, obdržení manažerova názoru a sestavení kalkulace nákladů.

Abstract:

The presented work is focused on the description of management as a directed process in Synthomer a.s. and to changes of management in the organization during and after the covid-19 pandemic. The bachelor thesis consists of two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains a description of the disease covid-19 together with the impact of this disease on the world, then follows detailed description of management consisting of planning, organizing, leading and controlling. The topics were elaborated on the basis of internet articles and professional literature from Czech and foreign authors and were then used to develop the practical part. The practical part was worked out with the help of qualitative and quantitative research methods. It involved a structured interview with the manager and with sending of questionnaires to all employees of the IT department of Synthomer a.s.. On the basis of these two methods were processed subsections of the practical part. The conclusion of the cooperation with the manager was introduction of the innovations and recommendations regarding the technical equipment of the department, then receiving manager's opinion and drawing up cost calculations.
