The study of Claisen condensation of selected methyl arylalkanoates with methylketones
Abstract:
Bylo připraveno pět různých 3-arylpropanoátů. Byla provedena optimalizační studie Claisenovy kondenzace methyl-fenylacetátu s acetofenonem a methyl-3-(2-chlorfenyl)propanoátu s 3,4-dimethoxyacetofenonem. Nejlepší nalezené podmínky byly aplikovány na Claisenovu kondenzaci připravených 3-arylpropanoátů s methylketony v preparativním měřítku.
Abstract:
Five different 3-arylalkanoates were prepared. Optimization study was performed for Claisen condensation of methyl phenylacetate with acetophenone and methyl 3-(2-chlorophenyl)propanoate with 3,4-dimethoxyacetophenone. The best conditions found were applied to Claisen condensation of the prepared 3-arylpropanoates with methylketones at preparative scale.
