Tato práce se zabývá filmem The Rocky Horror Picture Show v širším kontextu amerických kulturních a společenských jevů typických pro sedmdesátá léta. Snaží se prokázat, že ve filmu se objevují některé z klíčových tendencí definujících americkou kulturu sedmdesátých let a že při zasazení do tohoto kontextu se stává zřejmým , že film velmi přesně odráží některé aspekty společenské a kulturní atmosféry …more
Abstract:
The thesis sets the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show into a broader context of the cultural and social phenomena of the 1970s. It argues that the film encompasses some of the defining features of the 1970s' American culture, that it cannot be fully understood without this context, and that it, in turn, tells much about the social and cultural atmosphere of its period.
